Brogdale Farm in Kent houses the UK's national fruit collection. They offer courses in all aspects of fruit orchard planning and management as well as fruit identification and advice. Schools can make use of their teaching resources in the classroom or arrange a visit.

Common Ground has lots of information on its website on planning and planting a community orchard and has also produced the Community Orchards handbook, which can be ordered through their website.

In 1990, they initiated national Apple Days, which have since taken place annually in around the third week of October. Promotional Materials and lists of events are available on their website.
